Starting January 1, 2019, the Cluj-Napoca City Hall is introducing a tourism tax, so starting with the first day of the following year, accommodation in Cluj-Napoca will cost 5 RON more. In Oradea as well, hoteliers charge a tax of 2% of the accommodation rate, which they then transfer to the City Hall’s account.
