Between November 7-9, Romania participated in the World Trade Market London tourism fair, an occasion used to launch the “City Break in Bucharest” program with rates starting from 99 EUR for three nights of accommodation in 3 and 4-star hotels.
The initiators of the program are the National Authority for Tourism (ANT), the Bucharest City Hall, and the Federation of Romanian Tourism Employers (FPTR).
The program will be available starting December 1, excluding Christmas and New Year’s Eve, a date until which as many agencies and hotels as possible are expected to sign up.
FPTR will bring some of its hotelier members into the program, the city hall will offer tourists free entry to various museums and tourist attractions, and ANT will promote city breaks in Bucharest at all international fairs where Romania participates.
Tourists in this program will receive vouchers in their rooms for entry to, among others, the Zoo, the Village Museum, and for a tour of the museums in the Capital.
