Christian Tour: sales of over 3 million EUR during the Romanian Tourism Fair

Romanians who visited the Tourism Fair last week primarily bought vacations for their summer holidays, according to the balance sheet provided by the tour operator Christian Tour. The most sought-after destinations were Greece, Turkey, Spain, and Bulgaria. Romanian destinations (seaside resorts, spa resorts, and Maramureș) were also accessed by tourists.

During the Romanian Tourism Fair, over 7,000 people purchased vacations from the Christian Tour travel agency, as well as from the agency’s offices across the country. The total value of the packages sold exceeds 3 million EUR, 30% higher than that recorded at last year’s spring edition of the Tourism Fair.

The most requested foreign destinations were Greece, Turkey, Spain, and Bulgaria.

The main domestic destinations chosen by tourists are the seaside (for the May 1st mini-break and for the summer holiday), spa resorts, and the Maramureș area (for the Easter period and for the Pentecost mini-break).
