Christian Tour: Sales of 52 Million EUR in 2014

Travel agency Christian Tour recorded sales of 52 million EUR in 2014, compared to 45 million EUR in 2013. For this year, it estimates it will record sales of 63 million EUR and intends to reach a number of 230,000 people served.
Marius Pandel, the CEO of Christian Tour, stated that last year the agency sent a total of over 180,000 people on vacation, both domestically and abroad, recording an average expenditure per tourist of approximately 290 – 300 EUR, based on a 7-day stay, with transport included.
The filling rate of the 42 weekly charters last year was 95%, and the occupancy rate of the Memento Kassioppi Resort hotel, managed by Christian Tour on the Greek island of Corfu, was over 95% during the 2014 season.
Last year, the number of Christian Tour agencies reached 30, with the opening of the new headquarters in Chisinau and other offices in Suceava, Piatra Neamt, Buzau, and Gara de Nord – Bucharest.
Among the new products announced by the agency for this year are tourist packages to the island of Madeira, and to countries such as Egypt and Tunisia, as well as cruise packages with organized groups for the North Sea, the Baltic Sea, or the Arabian Sea. Also, this year, the agency will inaugurate two charters departing from Chisinau to Crete and Mallorca and will open two more offices in Bucharest.
