Over 25% of Romanians who will go on seaside vacations abroad next summer are purchasing their stays as early as this autumn to benefit from discounts of up to 45%, according to estimates by the Christian Tour travel agency.
While 5 years ago only 3-5% of tourists going to the seaside in summer bought their vacations in the autumn of the previous year, their number is constantly increasing year after year.
The agency has launched the “First Minute” campaign, offering tourists vacations with discounts of up to 45% in resorts in Greece, Turkey, and Egypt.
Marius Pandel, CEO of Christian Tour, recommends that tourists book early to catch the best offers. Even for tourist packages involving coach transport, those who want to secure a front seat must book in advance.
To benefit from the discounts in the First Minute program, tourists must pay a deposit of 25 EUR of the total price, followed by installment payments: 30% by January 31, 2018, 60% by March 31, 2018. The remaining balance must be paid 21 days before travel.
The First Minute campaign runs from the beginning of October until November.
