The national competition “Wine of Moldova” will be held in Chisinau on 4-5 December 2025, the event is organized by the National Office of Vine and Wine (ONVV) with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry. The competition, aligned to the standards of international competitions, aims to strengthen the country brand “Moldovan Wine. Amazingly good” and strengthening the position of local wines on domestic and foreign markets.
The wines entered in the competition will be evaluated by a jury of local and international experts. The organizers underline the special character of the 2025 edition, which comes after a year in which Moldovan wines gained recognition at prestigious events such as the 46th World Congress of Vine and Wine and the “Concours Mondial de Bruxelles”. This competition is a central element in the ONVV’s annual strategy to promote the national brand and support the presence of producers at exhibitions and competitions. At the previous, third edition, 90 medals were awarded to Moldovan wineries.
