CFR has launched the tender for the acquisition of design and execution services related to Phase I – Railway Connection to Terminal T1, Henri Coandă Bucharest International Airport, an integral part of the project Modernization of the Bucharest North – Henri Coandă Bucharest International Airport railway line.
The total estimated value of the contract is 420,113,085 RON without VAT, of which 402,711,085 RON for the execution of works and 17,402,000 RON without VAT for design services, the funding source being provided from Cohesion Funds and the State Budget, related to the 2014-2020 financial framework.
The object of the contract includes the construction of a 2.95 km double railway line, a 1.52 km viaduct crossing DN1, 3 culverts, an electronic interlocking system, and a passenger station at terminal T1.
The duration of the contract is 14 months, of which 2 months for design and 12 months for execution, plus a 60-month warranty period. The deadline for receiving offers is March 25, 2019, with their opening scheduled to take place on the same day at 3:00 PM.
