CFR Călători Reintroduces Sun Trains to Black Sea and Danube Delta

The Sun Trains (Trenurile Soarelui) have returned to circulation since the end of last week. Over 40 train sets will provide daily direct connections from across the country to the Black Sea resorts and the Danube Delta for nearly three months.
The travel time between Bucharest and Constanța, for non-stop IR trains, is 1 hour and 58 minutes.
Additionally, two direct trains will provide a daily connection between Bucharest North and Tulcea City and return, to facilitate tourists’ access to the Danube Delta. Also, every day, 4 trains will continue to run between Medgidia and Tulcea.
If a round-trip ticket is purchased, the traveler benefits from a 10% discount, and if the ticket is purchased online, an additional 5% discount is added. Furthermore, for purchasing tickets at least 21 days in advance, the discount is 25% of the transport fare. With the Minigrup 2-5 offer, the discounts granted are up to 30% if the purchase is made online.
