The Carpatia Tour travel agency has acquired and renovated the Automobil Clubul Român (ACR) floating hotel, and starting in August, it will enter the tourism circuit. One of the plans is to operate cruises on the Danube, from Vienna to Sulina.
Gelu Irimia, the agency’s director, purchased the hotel three months ago for over €120,000 and invested an additional €50,000 in its renovation and modernization.
The Sf. Constantin floating hotel, whose original name was kept by Carpatia after modernization, has 25 accommodation spots.
