Capitol Hotel in Brașov to Join International Brand Portfolio

The three-star Capitol Hotel, located in the center of Brașov and controlled by the Aro-Palace company, will transition to an international brand. To operate under the umbrella of an international hotel chain, the hotel needs to undergo a process of renovation and modernization.

The hotel has 183 rooms spread across six floors.

Aro-Palace concluded the first nine months of 2022 with a net profit of 350,000 RON, compared to a loss of 1.1 million RON in the same period of 2021, according to the financial report published on the Bucharest Stock Exchange.

The investment value will amount to approximately 10 million EUR. Renovation work could begin in September this year, and the hotel is scheduled to open in September 2025 under the new logo.
