Bucharest becomes the third regional hub where Dubai opens a tourism office

Dubai Corporation for Tourism & Commerce Marketing (DCTCM) has decided to open a representative office in Romania due to the high number of Romanian tourists who visited the Emirate during 2015: 46,700 people. Thus, Bucharest becomes the third location in the region where DTCM is present, after Prague and Warsaw.
For 2017, a 20% increase in the number of Romanian tourists visiting Dubai is estimated.
Annually, Dubai attracts approximately 16 million visitors from all over the world, and regarding Romania, the emirate wants to become a top 3 destination for many Romanians.
Dubai was ranked by MasterCard as the 4th most visited city in the world, the 3rd most “booked” city according to Booking.com and 7th for bookings on Expedia. Dubai is one of the 20 safest cities in the world, recently receiving the title of the most cosmopolitan – with more than 200 nationalities visiting and living in its community.
