Brasov Airport to be Completed This Year

The Brasov Airport terminal is set to be completed in November of this year and will be the third longest in the country. First place is held by the Otopeni terminal, and second place is held by the Cluj-Napoca terminal. The Brasov terminal will allow for a traffic of 1.2 million passengers.

To date, 8 major companies have expressed their desire to fly from Brasov. Once the entire project is completed, Brasov will become the 17th city in Romania to have an airport.

The investment in the new airport amounts to 120 million EUR and was provided by the Brasov County Council, as well as by the state.
