Borsa, Dambovicioara, Mamaia Nord, and the Pestera-Padina area in Moroeni commune have become tourist resorts of national interest

The Ministry of Tourism has promoted a Government Decision granting the status of tourist resorts of national interest to four localities and tourist areas.

The locality of Borsa in Maramures County, the locality of Dambovicioara in Arges County, the Mamaia Nord area – Navodari city in Constanta County, and the Pestera-Padina area in Moroeni commune, Dambovita County, are becoming tourist resorts of national interest.

Additionally, the localities of Cacica (Suceava County), Dorna Candrenilor (Suceava County), Oncesti (Maramures County), Poiana Stampei (Suceava County), and Solca (Suceava County) receive the status of tourist resorts of local interest.

Until now, there were 43 certified tourist resorts of national interest and 57 resorts of local interest in Romania.
