Blue Air has entered into a partnership with Amadeus

Blue Air has entered into a partnership with the Spanish company Amadeus regarding the distribution of the airline operator’s offers globally through the Amadeus reservation system to travel agencies.
The agreement is part of Blue Air’s strategy to increase the number of passengers from 1.5 million in 2014 to 2.5 million in 2017, according to the airline’s press release.
Thus, all Amadeus partners have full access to Blue Air’s offer content, down to the last available seat on the company’s flights. Amadeus thus becomes the first global distribution partner for Blue Air.
Blue Air’s Commercial Director, Tudor Constantinescu, stated that thanks to this partnership, the company’s offers are available to agencies using e-ticketing, and Amadeus users can sell all 42 regular Blue Air destinations operating in Belgium, Cyprus, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Romania, Spain, and the United Kingdom.
To date, over 70 low-cost and hybrid airlines, including Blue Air, have decided to distribute their offers through the Amadeus system and benefit from its global network of travel agencies working with this system, currently covering more than 200 markets.
