Bihor County Council Announces Tender for 7-Story Hotel Construction

The tender organized by the Bihor County Council is scheduled for early October to find an investor for the construction of a seven-story hotel in the center of Oradea.

The County Council, the owner of the land, proposes a project completion deadline of no more than two years from obtaining the building permit.

The land is owned by CJ Bihor and has an area of 3,981 square meters. The site is located in a central area, in the vicinity of the Museum of the Criș Rivers and the future Multifunctional Cultural Center.

The investment will include a building that cannot exceed the height of the Museum of the Criș Rivers; it will occupy at most 85% of the total land area, parking spaces, and landscaped green space. The tourist accommodation facility must obtain a classification of at least 3 stars and have at least 120 guest rooms.

CJ Bihor recently approved, in the ordinary meeting on September 22, the concession of the land for the construction of a hotel.
