Beach, Please! 2025: Audience and economic impact figures declared by the organizers

Organizers of the Beach, Please! festival in Costinești have published the final figures for the 2025 edition. According to the press release, the event registered a total of 500,000 participants over the five days.

The data provided indicates an average attendance of around 100,000 people per day, with a peak of 155,000 on Saturday. Based on these figures, the organizers position the event as “the biggest festival in Europe and the biggest hip-hop festival in the world”.

Economic and operational indicators:

  • Total economic impact: estimated at around €70 million generated in the local economy.
  • Direct expenditure by participants: estimated at €11 million over the duration of the event.
  • Advance sales: More than 50,000 tickets for the 2026 edition have already been sold in the pre-sale period, indicating high customer retention.

The festival, co-founded by entrepreneur Andrei Șelaru (Selly), had a line-up consisting of international artists such as A$AP Rocky, Yeat, Lil Baby, 21 Savage, Ken Carson and Young Thug, alongside Romanian artists.

The organizers’ press release also addressed the controversy surrounding the musical content and some of the invited artists, saying that the event’s strategy is to provide a platform for free creative expression.
