Athenee Palace Hilton Hotel in Bucharest is opening the first skating rink installed within a hotel, available for both staying tourists and the general public.
The skating rink covers an area of 72 sqm and is open Monday to Friday between 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM and Saturday between 12:00 PM and 6:00 PM, until the end of December. Entry costs 15 RON for people not staying at the hotel, a price that includes skate rental. Guests staying at the hotel will be able to use the equipment and the rink at no cost.
During the week, after 5:00 PM, the rink will be available for group bookings and parties. On Sundays, access to the rink is available only for participants of the Sunday brunch, which takes place weekly between 12:30 PM and 4:30 PM.
In June of this year, the company announced that, in 2017, it will begin renovation work on the Hilton hotel rooms, as well as the construction of a new hotel wing with 70 rooms behind the accommodation unit, an investment amounting to 20 million EUR.
