Brothers Marius and Emil Cristescu want to transform Arsenal Park in Orastie from a complex initially intended for corporate team buildings into one primarily addressed to families with children, which is why they have started a new series of leisure investments.
Thus, they recently opened a pool complex with 8 slides for children, and the investment amounted to 1 million EUR.
Also in the leisure area, a five-section zip line was built for children over 12 years old.
While initially, companies represented 70% of those visiting Arsenal Park and families 30%, in the last two years the percentage has reversed, and families, arriving in increasing numbers year after year, now account for 70% of total clients.
With the new investment in the children’s area, the total capacity of the aqua park has expanded from 1,500 to 2,000 people. At the same time, the parking lot was increased by 200 spaces, and the area for sunbeds was doubled to enhance comfort.
