Aro Palace, a company controlled by Transilvania Investments, has sold the Panoramic restaurant on Mount Tâmpa in Brașov to the hotel company ANA Hotels, owned by businessman George Copos.
ANA Hotels operates several hotels in Poiana Brașov and also manages Ana Teleferic in Poiana Brașov, as well as the Tâmpa cable car.
The ANA Hotels group includes the Athenee Palace Intercontinental and Crowne Plaza hotels, both in Bucharest, and three hotel units in Poiana Brașov—Sportul, Bradul and Poiana—along with Hotel Europa and the ANA Aslan Health Spa center in Eforie Nord.
Aro Palace announced in a report to the Bucharest Stock Exchange that it also plans to sell the Coroana – Postăvarul hotel in Brașov for at least EUR 8.4 million.
