ANT and ANAT visited the Russian Federation hoping to attract as many Russian tourists as possible to Romania

Romania is ready to offer complete packages, specially designed for the needs, culture, and habits of Russian tourists, stated the president of the National Authority for Tourism, Anca Pavel-Nedea, at the official meeting with representatives of the tourism industry from the Russian Federation.
Between January 27-29, ANT and the National Association of Travel Agencies in Romania, ANAT, organized an official delegation to Moscow, with discussions with Russian partners taking place at the Romanian Embassy in Moscow, with the support of the diplomatic mission in that country.
On the second day of the working visit, Anca Pavel-Nedea, accompanied by representatives of tour operators specialized in incoming and hotel companies from Romanian spa resorts, participated in a workshop presenting tourist Romania.
The meeting aimed to promote packages specially designed for the Russian market, as well as to create a favorable framework for attracting Russian tourists to destinations in Romania. Over 100 travel agencies from the Russian Federation participated in the action, as well as representatives from the local mass media.
Among the destinations sought by Russian tourists are the Black Sea coast, the Danube Delta, Bucovina, and Maramureș, destinations recognized for the authenticity of local traditions and customs.
