ANAT wants to propose a change in the school year structure to the Minister of Education
Members of the National Association of Travel Agencies, ANAT, are dissatisfied with the current structure of the school year and want to propose to the Minister of Education that students enter vacation in stages, by county or region, following the German model, in order to extend the summer season, stated the president of ANAT, Alin Burcea.
ANAT proposes that some of the students finish the school year on June 1st, thereby stimulating the growth of bookings for the month of June, which is usually weaker for Romanian tourism.
ANAT claims that this model has been practiced in Germany for several decades, by federal states.
