In the first quarter of this year, the company ANA Hotels recorded a revenue increase of over 14% compared to the first quarter of last year, as well as an increase in the average occupancy rate across the entire network to approximately 70%. Regarding the average room rate, it also increased by about 10%, stated Christine Schillings, General Manager of ANA Hotels.
In March, the company completed the renovation works of the spa center within Crowne Plaza, following an investment of nearly 2 million EUR. Schillings also specified that the investment in the Ana Hotels Europa complex in Eforie Nord is ongoing. An outdoor pool dedicated to Techirghiol salt and mud procedures will be opened here in June.
Last year, the Ana Hotels chain recorded a 4.5% business growth, and for 2018, an average revenue growth of 8.1% is estimated.
“For the end of the year, we have scheduled the start of renovations for the Athenee Palace Hilton hotel in Bucharest, a location that is set to expand with a new wing. In Poiana Brasov, we are considering the construction and arrangement of special accommodation areas for Ana Hotels employees,” stated Schillings.
