ANA Holding opens in summer the Panoramic restaurant and the Tâmpa cable car in Brasov

According to data released by the Ministry of Finance, 2024 was a year of growth for ANA Hotels, the hotel division of ANA Holding. The company ended the fiscal year with total business worth 223 million lei. This figure marks a significant increase, exceeding by more than 8% the level recorded in the previous year, 2023, when ANA Hotels’ revenue amounted to RON 205 million. This financial performance underlines a positive evolution of the hotel operations of the holding controlled by businessman George Copos.

In parallel with the positive financial results in the hotel sector, ANA Holding, through the company ANA Teleferic, has made considerable efforts to modernize the cable transport infrastructure in Brasov. ANA Teleferic, responsible for the management and operation of the cable cars in Brasov and Poiana Brasov, announces the completion of the modernization process of the Tâmpa cable car and the Panoramic restaurant, located in Brasov. These two emblematic tourist attractions, of particular importance for local tourism, will be reopened to the general public this summer.

The investment in modernizing the cableway involved a strategic collaboration with the Swiss company Garaventa. It is an internationally recognized name in ropeway equipment and part of the prestigious Doppelmayr Group. The partnership with Garaventa has ensured the supply of state-of-the-art technology and equipment designed to improve the safety, comfort and efficiency of the Tâmpa cableway’s operation. The modernization of the cable car and the Panoramic restaurant is an important step in the development of Brasov’s tourism infrastructure, offering visitors an improved experience and modern facilities.
