In June of this year, the Alma Health & Spa Retreat hotel complex in Lacu Sărat Resort was opened to the public. It was officially inaugurated on September 7, in the presence of local authorities and guests from the tourism and business sectors.
The investment in Alma Health & Spa Retreat amounted to 20 million EUR and included the modernization and expansion of the former Diana Hotel in the resort, transforming it into a premium resort with 185 rooms, conference spaces with a total capacity of up to 1,000 participants, a treatment center spread over an area of 2,500 sqm, 60 individual treatment rooms, an indoor saltwater pool, kinesiotherapy rooms, restaurants, a private beach, and pools.
The saltwater is captured directly from the lake and refreshed daily. In the wellness & spa area, there is an indoor freshwater pool and Jacuzzi, dry and wet saunas, a Jacuzzi with a lake view, a Himalayan salt room, Hammam, Vichy shower, and therapy and massage rooms.
