Three new campsites for nature lovers in Bihor

Tourists visiting the Crișului Repede Gorge will have a more comfortable experience, thanks to the arrangement of three modern campsites. Work on the new premises has recently started and will be completed within 5 months.

The Vice President of the Bihor County Council, Mircea Mălan, visited the locations chosen for the campsites, located in Bratca, Şuncuiuș and Vadu Crișului communes. Each campsite will offer a range of modern facilities, adapted to the needs of modern tourists.

The campsite in Bratca will include 6 wooden gazebos, a building with barbecue and covered terrace, showers and toilets. The campsite in Şuncuiuș will provide 4 pavilions, a building with toilets, showers, a conference room and administrative spaces, as well as a building with offices and a

The project is carried out by CJ Bihor in partnership with the National Agency for Natural Protected Areas and local town halls. Financing is provided from European funds, the total value of the contract being 8,527 million lei, including VAT.

In addition to the campsites, the project also includes the development of 5 caves (2 for public access and 3 for speotourism), and the unclogging of Vida Lake in the Dobrești commune (where a campsite with 4 gazebos and a multifunctional building will be set up)

CJ Bihor is currently running two other similar projects, setting up an ecological education camp in the Natura 2000 site Mount Șes and setting up a cave in the Tășad site of community importance.

These projects will contribute to capitalizing on the tourism potential of the area and promoting sustainable tourism.
