The ice hotel at Bâlea Lac will be open for Christmas, says the manager of the resort, Arnold Klingeis. The hotel will have several rooms, as early snowfall in the upper part of the Făgăraș Mountains has allowed the hotel builders to get to work on the edifice as early as November. “So far, six ice rooms have been completed. The hotel will have 10, maybe 12 rooms, it will have different igloos this year,” says the initiator of the project, Arnold Klingeis.quoted by Radio Cluj. The price of a night’s accommodation at the ice hotel costs EUR 100 per person/night during the week. At weekends, the cost of a room is €150.
