The charter on the route Romania - Maldives will operate during the winter holidays

The pandemic increased the interest of Romanians for exotic destinations, considered safer during this period. If the most sought after destinations in recent months were Turkey, Greece, Portugal and Egypt, for the winter holidays in the top of the preferences climbs the Maldives, according to requests received by agencies.

In order to support the relaunch of tourism, the travel agency Karpaten Turism launches the Bucharest-Maldives charter on the occasion of the first edition of the online tourism fair. The flight will be operated by Gulliv Air, a company specialized in charters on exotic destinations, with an Airbus A-330 aircraft.

The tourism fair takes place online between November 12-16 and brings great offers for travel lovers and the possibility of full refund in case of cancellation of the trip in the context of the restrictions imposed by the pandemic.

The charter to the Maldives will be operated during New Year's Eve and the first week of January. Thus, Romanian tourists can fly safely, without a stopover, at prices starting from 1.199 EUR / person, said Alexandru Marginean, General Manager of Karpaten Tourism - External Tourism Division.

The destinations to which you can travel safely and without restrictions during this period are: Turkey, Egypt, Maldives, Zanzibar, Mexico, Dubai and Greece. Prices for New Year's Eve start at 309 EUR / person and include accommodation, air transport, transfers and tourist assistance in Romanian. For stays in the summer of 2021, prices start from 219 EUR / person and can be paid in three installments.

To make the booking experience as safe as possible for tourists in the context of the pandemic, all bookings at the fair benefit from the advantages of the #restartTravel campaign: an advance of only 5% is required, can be canceled free of charge up to 21 days before departure and there is the option a medical insurance and cancellation. In addition, if the trip will not be possible due to restrictions imposed by the authorities, the agency guarantees a refund within 7 days.
