Hidroconstrucția offers for sale land, apartments, industrial premises and hotels in the Retezat Mountains

Assets worth over 65 mil.
EUR, belonging to Hidroconstrucția, a company in insolvency, will be put up for sale, said Infinexa Restructuring, a company specialized in restructuring, appointed receiver of Hidroconstrucția SA.
The assets include several located in popular tourist areas such as Brazi in the Retezat Mountains or Tarnița in the Apuseni Mountains, as well as in Florești, near Cluj Napoca, Bascov, near Pitesti, in Timisoara, Râmnicu-Vâlcea and several office buildings in the center of the capital.
The properties include the Tourist Complex in Brazi, a locality in the Retezat National Park, with conference centers, guest houses, warehouses, tennis courts, etc., the Caransebeș Minihotel (former Dormitor comun P+1), a tourist chalet in Rânca – Păpușa, the Brazi-Râușor Tourist Complex (Retezat Mountains), a villa in Păușa (near Olănești), apartments in workers’ or non-family homes in Sebeș, Hațeg, Caransebeș, Bumbești Jiu and Petroșani, warehouses, warehouses, platforms, canteens, car washes, recovery rooms, sports fields, garages, apartment blocks in Gura Văii, near Orșova, kindergartens, industrial premises in different areas of the country.
In the Timisoara and Arad areas, administrative and office premises, and land within and outside the city are being offered for sale.
Also listed for sale are apartments in Bucharest, sector 5, three office buildings and related land in Bulevardul Ferdinand no. 90, another one in 24 Fecioarei Street in the center of the capital.
In Râmnicu-Vâlcea, the company owns a shopping complex, a sports ground and others, also put up for sale.
The creditors’ meeting of Hidroconstrucția approved at its most recent meeting the sale of some non-core assets in the reorganization plan in order to reduce the company’s operating costs and to allow the repayment of amounts to creditors.
All these assets will be sold through auction procedures organized by the receiver and promoted in accordance with the law.
Established in 1950, Hidroconstrucția S.A. is a Romanian company with 100% private capital, known as the main builder of most of the country’s hydropower projects.
Currently, the company is responsible for investments in the Livezeni – Bumbești, Răstolița, Buzău – Siriu – Surduc hydropower plants and other construction works.
