Grand Development signs with Radisson Hotel Group for the first five-star villa resort in Romania

The real estate development company Grand Development, founded and coordinated by entrepreneur Ionuț Nicolescu, has entered into a partnership with Radisson Hotel Group, through which the international hotel group will open the first five-star villa resort in Romania under the Radisson Blu brand.
The project is already under construction in a 2.6-hectare mountain glade near Brasov, close to a centuries-old forest in the Carpathian Mountains – one of Europe’s wilderness oases, and within 20 minutes of Brasov-Ghimbav International Airport, the city center of Brasov, Bran Castle and the Brasov Glens.
Scheduled to open in the fourth quarter of 2026, the Radisson Blu Grand Mountain Resort, Brasov, will consist of 46 individual and adjoining Scandinavian chalet-style villas with large glassed-in spaces and 20 hotel rooms, all of the accommodation units rated at five stars.
The new Radisson Blu resort will provide its guests with all the facilities of a five-star hotel project, including an open-kitchen restaurant showcasing both local gastronomy and the finest international cuisine, a spa with indoor pool, a wellness and fitness center, several conference rooms, and parking.
In addition, all guests will be able to choose from a wide range of sports and recreational activities available in the area and on the premises.
Along with Ionuț Nicolescu, real estate consultant Cremona Maria – Andrei is co-owner of Grand Development.
Alexandru Boghiu, founding partner of Mavers Wealth Management, a venture capital firm focused on supporting exceptional entrepreneurs in the digital sectors, has also been co-opted into the development team.
