The real estate developer Nusco signed a partnership with Hyatt Hotels Corporation in December 2024 to open the first Hyatt-branded hotel in the capital, as part of the Nusco City project in the north of the city. As a result of this partnership, two prestigious brands of the Hyatt Group – Hyatt Place and Hyatt House – will enter the Bucharest market. Hyatt Place will be a 4-star hotel with 170 rooms and suites, while Hyatt House will offer 100 extended-stay rooms, catering to both tourists and those wishing to stay for longer periods. The project will occupy more than 4,000 square meters and the developer Nusco will invest more than EUR 42 million. Last October, Aro Palace SA announced the signing of a franchise agreement with a Hyatt affiliate, marking the emergence of Hyatt Regency Aro Palace Brasov. The developer Nusco is one of the biggest players on the Romanian real estate market, with projects such as the Premio premium residential complex, the CITTA Park complex, and the office buildings Nusco Towers, Caramfil, Floreasca One and Two, as well as the Pipera shopping park. Nusco is also involved in the development of the Nusco City projects. Hyatt Hotels Corporation, headquartered in Chicago, has a portfolio of more than 1,350 hotels and all-inclusive properties in 78 countries on six continents.
