Ensana Health Spa Hotels plans €40 million investment in Romania

Ensana Health Spa Hotels had a turnover of RON73 mln in the first ten months of the year and expects to close 2024 with RON85 mln. Last year, at Ensana Health Spa Hotels in Sovata, almost 75,000 tourists underwent treatments, of which 22,300 were in the wellness area and more than 52,000 were medical procedures. In the first ten months of 2024, those who crossed the threshold of the hotel in Sovata purchased more than 82,000 procedures, of which 24,500 were in the wellness and relaxation area and 57,500 were medical procedures. The Sovata Ensana Health Spa Hotels tourist complex consists of Brădet Ensana Health Spa Hotel, Sovata Ensana Health Spa Hotel and Ursina Ensana Health Spa Hotel. The 3 hotels are part of a unitary complex, which offers tourists a total of almost 405 rooms. The 3 hotels of the Ensana Group are located less than 200 meters from Lake Ursu, the only heliothermal lake in Europe, one with a high salinity that has earned it the nickname of “Transylvania’s Dead Sea”.
