Businessman Virgil Lixandru received a new building permit for the construction of an aparthotel in Mamaia resort. The businessman believes that the economic development of the area and the continuous increase in the demand for residential and accommodation spaces are currently leading to a continuous expansion of the construction of buildings with tourist, commercial and recreational facilities in the resort. Constanta City Hall issued on Friday, October 18, 2024, Building Permit No. 967, for “Modification of the project in progress, authorized with AC No. 882/2021 – Construction of a D+P+8E building with the function of apartment hotel, with 70 units, fencing of the land, organization of the construction site and location of a light sign”. The site is located at 523C Mamaia Boulevard. The document is valid for two years. Thus, the aparthotel will no longer have retracted levels between floors V and VIII, resulting in a total of 70 accommodation or living units. For the slope between Poarta 3 and 4 in Constanța, businessman Ion Virgil Lixandru plans to draw up a zonal urban development plan for the construction of a mixed-use development: collective housing, offices, services or commerce. To this end, Euro Vial Residence has applied for and obtained an urban planning certificate. It also wants to build a six-storey block in Palazu Mare, as in the Constanta train station area. Then, in the Hotel Dorna area, he plans to build a twelve-storey apartment block or aparthotel. Through Euro Vial Residence SRL, Lixandru obtained in early January this year the environmental permit, requested in December 2023, for the construction of a cherhanale in Mamaia Nord. Last year, he had submitted the investment presentation memorandum to the Constanța Environmental Protection Agency. With this project, he proposes the construction of a building with the function of a fishing lodge – cherhana. It will include a general basement with a parking lot with 91 parking spaces and three buildings with a ground floor. It is also proposed to create driveways and pedestrian walkways, as well as green spaces on the land left free of buildings. The land is located in Năvodari, in the Mamaia Nord area, on Brizei Street no. 15.
