Tourism in the Republic of Moldova is attracting more and more public attention and this year, thanks to the partnership with the National Tourism Office of the Republic of Moldova, 6 impressive destinations are in the running for the title of Destination of the Year 2025.
Here are the Moldovan destinations taking part in the competition:
Chisinau, the capital of the Republic of Moldova, is a vibrant city full of history and culture. With spra sprawling parks, imposing buildings and an active nightlife, the city offers tourists a perfect blend of tradition and modernity. The Metropolitan Cathedral, the Triumphal Arch and numerous museums are just a few of the must-see attractions. Chisinau is a finalist in the Inspiring Cities category.
Nature Reserve “Beech Plain” is the ideal place for lovers of picturesque landscapes and fresh air. Here, tourists can explore the beech forests and discover the diverse flora and fauna of the region. Hiking trails and ecotourism activities make this reserve a perfect place for relaxation and adventure. This destination is a finalist in the Enchanted Lands category
The village of Țîra, Florești Rayon is the place where the authentic Moldovan traditions are carefully preserved and the old houses, local crafts and people’s hospitality make this village a fairytale destination. The “Kazak Club” Horse Riding and Agricultural Tourism Complex, for horseback riding and rural tourism enthusiasts, “Kazak Club” offers a unique experience, combining the beauty of horses with the picturesque landscapes of Moldova. Here, tourists can learn to ride, participate in guided nature tours and discover local culture through gastronomy and traditional activities. The Kazak Club Riding and Agricultural Tourism Complex is one of the finalist destinations in the Fun and Adventure category.
The Orheiul Vechi natural and historical complex is one of the most spectacular destinations in the Republic of Moldova, offering breathtaking views and a foray into the past. Each of these destinations makes a valuable contribution to the Destination of the Year 2025 competition, offering tourists authentic and unique experiences.
