The Balada Tourist Complex in Saturn resort is up for sale for EUR 6.1 million. The auction organized for the 3-star resort, owned by THR Marea Neagră, has been set for March 17.
The Balada Tourist Complex in Saturn is an emblematic location on the Romanian coast, both for the seaside community and for tourists.
The shareholders are Transilvania Investements Alliance Alliance SA, as well as other legal entities, and the company’s administrators are Alexe Gabriela, Carapiti Dumitru Carapiti and Turcu Vasile-Cosmin Turcu.
Those interested in taking part in the tender will have to deposit a participation deposit of 10%, i.e. EUR 610 thousand, and the tender step is worth EUR 25 thousand. The tender specifications can be purchased for RON 3,000 and the winner of the tender must pay the full amount within 30 days from the date of the award of the tourist complex.
The Balada Tourist Complex has 14 floors, was built in the 70s in the northern part of the resort, is equipped with a treatment center and its rooms have sea view.
With this measure, THR Marea Neagră has put up for sale virtually its entire hotel portfolio, once one of the largest in Romania. At this moment, the few hotels owned by THR Marea Neagră on the Romanian coast are Complex Bran-Brad-Bega, Hotel Vraja Mării and Hotel Venus, in Eforie Nord; Hotel Ancora, in Eforie Sud; Hotel Cleopatra, Hotel Narcis, Hotel Hora, Hotel Sirena, Hotel Cerna, Hotel Aida and Hotel Siret – all in Saturn.
From 195 employees in 2022, THR Black Sea in 2023 had 33 employees. Interestingly, also in 2023, the company had a profit of more than 34 million RON, but debts jumped to 27 million RON. In 2021, the profit is on 51 million. The company is managed by Mihaela Ichim, as director, Rosca Ionel – Administrative Director, Dusu Sofia – Patrimony Director and Madalina Comsa – Economic Director. The members of the Board of Directors are: Turcu Vasile Cosmin Vasile – Chairman of the Board of Directors, Alexe Gabriela -Administrator and Carapiti Dumitru – Administrator.
