Second Swiss intervention will bring Romania CHF 10 million

The Ambassador of Switzerland, His Excellency Massimo Baggi, included in his visit to Oradea on September 6th, a meeting with representatives of Ohma Academy, an institution that offers professional training courses in the field of hospitality offered by Winsed.swiss Romania.
Last week’s visit of Ambassador Massimo Baggi to Ohma Academy Oradea provided another opportunity for constructive discussions with the Winsed.swiss team on the perspectives of hospitality education and emphasized the importance of international collaboration in the field of dual education.
The dialog with Adrian Dumitriu, Head of Ohma at Winsed.swiss Ohma Romania and Chef and Coach Bogdan Vandici highlighted the contribution of Winsed.swiss partnership with the prestigious EHL Hospitality Business School (École hôtelière de Lausanne) to the strengthening of relations between Romania and Switzerland and the development of innovative educational initiatives.
Education and vocational and professional training is one of the areas in which Switzerland is supporting Romania as part of the second Swiss contribution.
To this end, Switzerland will allocate CHF 10 million to Romania.
The program will be implemented by the Romanian Ministry of Education.
The objective of this program is to strengthen the Romanian dual vocational education and training system with the involvement of schools and private companies.
The licensed academy for vocational education and training supported by the partnership between Winsedswiss Education Group (WEG) and EHL Group, which includes Ecole hôtelière hôtelière de Lausanne, the hospitality university ranked number 1 worldwide.
The educational institutions have joined forces to offer a vocational education and training (VET) program leading to an EHL-licensed professional degree.
Delivered in Romania through Ohma by winsedswiss Vocational Hotel Management Academies, the VET by EHL programme is a chance for students to add an internationally recognized hospitality diploma to their CV without having to study abroad.

Dr. Gabriela Tigu, Dean of the Dean of the Faculty of Business and Tourism, of the Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies, appreciated the re-launch of the Strategic Hospitality Management program, in collaboration with EHL Advisory services, the consulting division of EHL Hospitality Business School (Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne), with the support of winsed.swiss.
