OMD Mamaia announces new partnerships at TT Warsaw International Tourism Fair

Authenticity, culture and tradition at the 30th International Tourism Fair in Warsaw. All this was on display at the Romanian stand, which this year hosts 21 co-exhibitors. The destination Mamaia Constanta was at the center of the attention of foreign tourists, delighted by what the Romanian coast has to offer. OMD Mamaia Constanta participates for the second time at the International Tourism Fair “TT Warsaw”, demonstrating a continuous commitment to attract tourists from Poland, a strategic market for the Romanian coast: “A very important step was the meeting we had with the representatives of the International Radom Airport in Warsaw. With the support of the Polish Chamber of Tourism, this meeting was possible today. Our destination has a major interest in attracting new airlines to the Romanian coast, taking into account the modernization of Mihail Kogălniceanu International Airport. Representatives of Polish Chamber of Tourism together with tour operators from Poland participated in the info-trip organized by OMD Mamaia Constanta last summer. Hoteliers in Mamaia resort have a rich offer – from 3-star to 5-star hotels, tourist packages can be tailored to all types of tourists who want to spend their vacation in Mamaia resort. We had an excellent reception in Warsaw, both at the first event and at the second tourism fair, and Mamaia resort is making sure steps towards the European markets”, said Sebastian Puznava – Vice President of the Destination Management Organization Mamaia Constanta. In parallel with the event in Warsaw, the Ministry of Economy, Entrepreneurship and Tourism has launched an outdoor promotion campaign for Romania, which runs until December 15 in the Polish cities of Warsaw and Krakow, in order to increase Romania’s visibility as a tourist destination and generate interest from Polish tourists. Romania’s National Day – December 1st – will also be marked this year in Warsaw with a festive message “Happy Birthday, Romania!”, displayed on all digital billboards as part of the outdoor campaign in Poland. The participation in TT Warsaw 2024 is part of a broad effort to promote Mamaia – Constanta destination in Europe. During the event, the organization aimed to attract new contacts with Polish tour operators and travel agencies interested in including the Romanian seaside in their offers for the 2025 season.
