Hotel Orizont in Predeal could be sold by auction

On October 15, FEPER’s Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (AGEA) will decide whether to approve the sale of Hotel Orizont in Predeal.
The transaction will take place following the organization of a public tender.
The announcement to organize the auction will be published no later than 15 days from the date of publication of the AGEA’s decision.
The price starts at 10,5 mil.
EUR 10.5 million, and the transfer of ownership of the property will take place upon full payment of the price, according to the AGEA’s convocation.
Hotel Orizont has 139 four-star rooms, a wellness center, a conference center, two restaurants and more.
Minimum conditions to be included in the specifications:

  • the amount of the tender deposit will be 5% of the starting price of the tender,
  • the tender will be advertised for at least 16 days,
  • full payment of the sale price will be made within 90 calendar days from the date of signing the sales contract.

FEPER branch Predeal – hotel Orizont had a net turnover of 15 mil.
RON and EBITDA margin of almost 12% in 2023.
Hotel Orizont had net profit of RON 578,115 in 2023, according to FEPER’s individual financial statements.
On March 30, 2022, FEPER’s shareholders decided that the operation of the Predeal branch – Hotel Orizont will be provided by The Makers.
FEPER also owns the Central hotel in Ploiești and the FEPER building on the Pipera platform in Bucharest.
FEPER is controlled by the investment fund Transilvania Investments with more than 85% of the shares, while the Authority for State Assets Administration owns almost 9.4% of the company’s shares.
