The five-star hotel Corinthia Grand Hôtel du Boulevard, located in the historic Grand Hôtel du Boulevard building on Bucharest’s Elisabeta Boulevard, is scheduled to open in March 2025. The first hotel under the luxury Corinthia brand in the local market, owned by Niro Investment Group, will feature 30 exclusive suites, restaurant and lounge under the famous SASS’ Cafe brand in Monaco, the historic Grand Ballroom, private conference rooms, as well as spa, beauty salon and fitness room. The hotel will cater to both business and leisure travelers and residents. In May 2022, Niro Investment Group announced the completion of the prototype suite that implements the Corinthia brand’s standards of style and quality. At that time, the company’s representatives came up with more details on the layout and amenities: thus, the “prototype room” is actually a 120 square meter luxury apartment that includes a spacious bedroom with dressing room and bathroom, dinning room, living room and an office area. This year, Niro also announced a partnership with the SASS’ Café Monaco brand to operate the restaurant inside the Corinthia Grand Hotel du Boulevard. Designed by Monaco-based agency G&M Design, the SASS’ Restaurant & Lounge Bucharest will be decorated with the iconic elements of the SASS’ style. The Corinthia Group is a network of five-star luxury hotels founded by the Maltese Pisani family in 1962. The company has grown over the years into a multinational investor, developer and operator of hotels and real estate properties.
