ARO Palace Brasov (ticker symbol ARO), a hotel company controlled by the alternative investment fund Transilvania Investments Alliance (TRANSI), recorded a net profit of RON 2.93 mln in 2024, up from a net profit of RON 35.08 mln in the previous year (-91.7%), to revenues of RON 36.22 mln, minus 55%.
Last fall, the company signed the franchise contract with the international hotel chain Hyatt for the ARO Palace hotel in downtown Brasov. After the rebranding and renovation of the building, the hotel will be called Hyatt Regency Aro Palace Brasov.
The announcement came after ARO Palace partnered with Accor last year to reopen the Capitol Hotel under the Mercure brand. The two projects are earmarked for investments of around €50m.
ARO shares are up 7.6% since the beginning of this year, on a liquidity of RON 34,000 and a capitalization of RON 160 million. The group’s share capital is 85.74% owned by Transilvania Investments Alliance, followed by S. Winners First (10.2%).
