A new investment in an amusement park near Bucharest

Real estate developer Liebrecht & wood, which opened the Fashion House outlets near Bucharest, has plans for new investments. As well as continuing to build houses in the Liziera de Lac project, the company wants to enter a new market and invest in a large-scale amusement park with indoor and outdoor activities near Bucharest.

Ten years ago, Liebrech&wooD had big plans for the hectare of land it bought in Cernica. The project was to include a second outlet, which has since opened, a shopping mall, a hypermakert and an IKEA store. Part of the land on which the project was to be developed was sold to Lidl, which built a logistics warehouse. But because the land is large, the developer wants to enter a new market and invest in an amusement park.

The developer is now working on finalizing the concept of the amusement park and is preparing to obtain the building permit.

The developer has no bank loans and finances its investments with money allocated to the fund by six families from the Flemish region who chose 30 years ago to diversify their investments and bet on Romania.

Another 39 houses will be built in the second phase, for which the investment is six million euro. The company official also says that he wants to complete the remaining 421 houses in the approved PUZ in the next three years.

Liebrecht & wood is active in Poland and Romania and has developed office, retail, residential and logistics projects with a total area of half a million square meters, valued at over 1 bn. EUR.

Liebrecht & wood has been present in Romania since 2001, when it entered the local market with the Militari Shopping Centre in Bucharest and later the Victoria Park office building (sold in 2004). The company also owns two Fashion House Outlet Centre outlets in Militari and Fashion House Outlet Centre Pallady.
