Salina Targu Ocna will reopen almost half a year after it was closed. Pieces of salt have broken loose from the ceiling of a gallery. In the meantime, safety works have been carried out so that the saltworks in Bacau county can now welcome tourists again
Salina Targu Ocna was closed on November 8 last year, after several blocks of salt detached from the ceiling and fell in the area of the treatment center.
After a series of safety works, the salt works will reopen on April 11. Visiting hours at the Trotuș mine, as well as the treatment program, will be daily. And representatives of the Tg. Ocna announce that there will be normal working hours from 8.00 to 16.00 on Easter days as well.
