AnimaWings Company will operate, during the summer season 2025, for the tour-operator Christian Tour multiple charter flights departing from Timisoara International Airport.
All charter flights will be operated by Airbus A320 aircraft with a 180-seat economy configuration.
Summer charter destinations operated by AnimaWings for the Christian Tour include Antalya, Crete (Heraklion and Chania), Zakynthos, Corfu, Corfu, Rhodes, Tenerife, Mallorca, Hurghada or Monastir (Tunisia).
The aircraft will, however, remain based at Timisoara Airport for the long term, including the winter season, when AnimaWings will continue to operate charter flights for Christian Tour and other tour-operators to other cold season tourist destinations (e.g. Hurghada, Egypt or Kittila, Lapland).
Marius Pandel, Chairman of the Board of AnimaWings, announces that AnimaWings will start operating scheduled flights on the Timisoara-B Bucharest-Timisoara route from October 2025, with eight weekly frequencies. “We are also analyzing together with Traian Vuia Airport in Timisoara and the County Council the creation of a permanent base in Timisoara, from where we will operate both domestic flights to Otopeni and direct external flights to destinations sought after by the inhabitants of Timisoara. Concrete information on destinations and flight schedules will be communicated shortly”, adds Marius Pandel.
