The Ion family, which has participated in the construction of more than 10,000 apartments in Sector 6, has opened a new 4-star hotel in the Cotroceni district of Bucharest and is working on two more.
“The 4-star hotel Le Blanc in Cotroceni opened 3 weeks ago. There are 48 rooms and 2 suites, a café and a restaurant for 45-50 people. Over 6 million euro have been invested,” said Cornel Ion, owner of the Start Priority Holding real estate group.
Le Blanc Group also includes a 4-star aparthotel located about one kilometer away from the new hotel in Cotroceni. Le Blanc Aparthotel has 35 luxury studios and apartments. In addition, it also includes the Le Blanc events lounge, formerly known as the Bârlogul Lupilor, on Valea Oltului street. All the group’s hotel investments are in Sector 6.
The investor has signed a 2023 partnership with the French hotel group Accor, which provides for the opening of a Mercure hotel in a renovated building on Dimitrie Cantemir Boulevard, near the center of Bucharest. Cornel Ion says the hotel, which will have 40 rooms, will open at the end of May.
The Ion family is also authorizing the construction of a new events hall with a total capacity of 600 people next to a hotel with 30 rooms on Timisoara Boulevard.
