Corinthia Grand Hotel du Boulevard Bucharest was officially inaugurated

Located at the intersection of Calea Victoriei and Elisabeta Boulevard, the luxury boutique hotel Corinthia Grand Hotel du Boulevard Bucharest has been officially inaugurated.

Inaugurated for the first time in 1873, the hotel was the first in Bucharest to have electric lighting and an elevator. Over the years, the hotel has hosted royal and cultural personalities.

“We are extremely proud to welcome guests to the Corinthia Grand Hotel du Boulevard Bucharest. This is not just a hotel, but a place that reflects the timeless elegance and dynamic energy of the city. Our goal is that every guest has a special and authentic stay,” said Jean Pierre Mifsud, General Manager of the hotel.

Today, the hotel has 30 luxury suites, decorated with furniture and artwork made especially for the hotel.

Corinthia Bucharest consists of three locations – Sass’ Restaurant & Lounge, Boulevard 73 and Heritage Bar. Boulevard 73 is the hotel’s former ballroom, now the space offers gastronomic experiences, combining French and Romanian cuisine.

Founded in Malta in 1968, Corinthia Hotels is a global hotel group with an ever-expanding portfolio in the luxury hotel segment. Corinthia introduced the “Grand Boutique” concept, which combines the elegance of a classic hotel with the energy and contemporary style of a boutique hotel.
