One of the symbols of the resort of Sărata-Monteoru, the hotel complex “Cazino,” is available on the real estate market, with a listing price of 2.690.000 euro. It covers an area of 6,000 square meters, with another 2,000 square meters of land in use. The complex offers:
- accommodation – 70 comfortable rooms, ideal for year-round stays;
- gastronomy – two restaurants and three terraces capable of hosting various events;
- spa and relaxation – indoor freshwater pool, outdoor saltwater pool, wet and dry sauna, saline, Roman bath and jacuzzi;
- entertainment – a casino area on the ground floor and a bar for leisure;
- Conferences – a room dedicated to events and business meetings.
Built in 1974, with an extension added in 1984, the complex has been restored and modernized to preserve its original architectural charm. The original design of the building dates back to the 1880s, the heyday of the resort of Sărata-Monteoru, developed under the guidance of the visionary Grigore Constantinescu Monteoru. He transformed the area into one of the elite destinations of the time, and the “Casino” hotel has remained a symbol of local prosperity. The complex belongs to the family of Constantin Musceleanu, a well-known businessman and former Buzău municipal councillor.
