The initiative aims to support communities in the Republic of Moldova by attracting diaspora investments in areas such as infrastructure, education, and energy efficiency.<\/p>\n<p>The projects were selected following a competition in which 123 applications were submitted, 113 of which were declared eligible. The individual value of the projects ranges between \u20ac38.18 thousand and \u20ac66.44 thousand. The Secretary General of the Government, Alexei Buzu, specified that although these are small-scale initiatives, they bring direct benefits to local communities.<\/p>\n<p>Among the approved investments are the purchase of a multifunctional mini-tractor in Cimi\u0219eni village (Criuleni), the construction of a biomass boiler house at the Geam\u0103na Gymnasium (Anenii Noi), and the installation of solar panels with a capacity of 60 kW at the &#8220;Prichindel&#8221; kindergarten in Sipoteni (C\u0103l\u0103ra\u0219i). Additionally, funding will be provided for the development of a park with an open-air stage in B\u0103dragii Noi (Edine\u021b), the renovation of the food block at the Bahmut Gymnasium (C\u0103l\u0103ra\u0219i), and the modernization of road and pedestrian infrastructure in Copceac village (Gagauzia UTU).<\/p>\n<p>The Ministry of Finance will make payments based on documents submitted to regional treasuries by the beneficiaries, who are obliged to utilize the funds by the end of the 2026 budget year.
