The Center Regional Development Agency (RDA), the C\u0103l\u0103ra\u0219i District Council, and the company “Marnicmih” S.R.L. have signed a works contract worth EUR 4.62 million to modernize the tourism infrastructure in the C\u0103l\u0103ra\u0219i district, Republic of Moldova. The project, co-financed by the Government of the Republic of Moldova and local authorities, aims to increase the attractiveness of regional tourist sites by rehabilitating access roads and creating new facilities for visitors.<\/p>\n
The initiative, titled “Increasing the attractiveness of tourist sites of regional importance in the C\u0103l\u0103ra\u0219i district through infrastructure rehabilitation and development”, is funded through the National Fund for Regional and Local Development (FNDRL). The works will be executed within 12 months from the issuance of the commencement order and include infrastructure interventions in several key localities in the district.<\/p>\n
In the village of Hogine\u0219ti, 2.05 km of access road to the “Casa Olarului” (Potter’s House) craft workshop and the “Sf. Cuvioas\u0103 Parascheva” wooden church will be rehabilitated. In the village of Palanca, the access road to the “Acoper\u0103m\u00e2ntul Maicii Domnului” wooden church and the “Casa P\u0103rinteasc\u0103” (Parental House) Museum will be fully rehabilitated. The project also includes the construction of two panoramic observation platforms in the town of C\u0103l\u0103ra\u0219i and the village of Hogine\u0219ti, as well as the development of a tourist stopover between the localities of H\u00eerbov\u0103\u021b and Hogine\u0219ti. According to the leadership of RDA Center and the C\u0103l\u0103ra\u0219i District Council, the investment will directly contribute to the development of the local economy, supporting family businesses and increasing the number of tourists in the Codru region.<\/p>\n
