The Center Regional Development Agency (ADR Centru) has launched a road infrastructure rehabilitation project leading to the “Plaiul Fagului” Nature Reserve, a strategic investment valued at approximately 6.9 million EUR. The contract, signed in partnership with the Ungheni District Council and the company Rutador S.R.L., aims to modernize the access route to boost ecotourism and support the economic development of the R\u0103denii Vechi locality.<\/p>\n
According to the MOLDPRES agency, the project involves interventions over a length of approximately 3 kilometers, segmented to serve both the local community (1.6 km in R\u0103denii Vechi) and the flow of visitors to the reserve (1.4 km). In addition to resurfacing the roadway, the contract includes the installation of road signaling, the placement of information panels, and the optimization of infrastructure to ensure fluid access in any season.<\/p>\n
The total investment, amounting to 35.17 million MDL (approximately 6.9 million EUR), is funded by the Government of the Republic of Moldova through the National Fund for Regional and Local Development (FNDRL), with the participation of local authorities.
