Of these, 77.4% were Romanian tourists and 22.6% were foreign tourists.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The largest share regarding the arrivals of foreign tourists in tourist reception structures was held by those from Europe \u2013 78.1% of the total foreign tourists, and of these, 85% were from European Union countries.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>In November, hotel arrivals accounted for 76.1% of the total arrivals in tourist reception structures with accommodation functions, up by 3.8% compared to November 2013.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Overnight stays recorded in tourist reception structures in November 2014 totaled 1,400.0 thousand, a decrease of 1.6% compared to November 2013. Of these, 81% represented overnight stays of Romanian tourists and 19% were overnight stays of foreign tourists.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Regarding the overnight stays of foreign tourists in tourist reception structures, the largest share was held by those from Europe \u2013 76.7% of total foreign tourists, and of these, 84.7% were from European Union countries.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The average length of stay in November was 2.4 days for Romanian tourists and 1.9 days for foreign tourists. The majority of foreign visitors come from countries located in Europe \u2013 92.9%. Of the total arrivals of foreign visitors to Romania, 59.9% come from European Union states, and among the EU states, the most arrivals were recorded from Hungary \u2013 33%, Bulgaria \u2013 27.2%, Germany \u2013 7.7%, Italy \u2013 7.3%, Poland \u2013 5.2%, and Austria \u2013 3.5%.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Departures of Romanian visitors abroad, recorded at border points, were 857.6 thousand in November, an increase of 7.8% compared to November 2013, and road transport was the most used by Romanian visitors for departures abroad, representing 75.7% of the total number of departures.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>In the period January \u2013 November 2014, arrivals recorded in tourist reception structures totaled 7,895.6 thousand, an increase of 6.4% compared to those recorded in the same period of 2013.
