The development of the complex began in 2007, before the crisis, but the Spanish company GEA International Development went into insolvency in 2012, leaving the works at the structure stage.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>One of the most important investors in the Laguna Residence project is Radu Ionescu, a 53-year-old engineer who left the country 30 years ago and settled in Lausanne, Switzerland, in 1987, and who holds a 28% stake in the project. &ldquo;From the first moment, I could imagine myself living and working here when I come to Bucharest for my activities as a technical expert in international arbitrations,&rdquo; confessed Radu Ionescu.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The Laguna Residence complex is located on the shores of Lake Tei, in the office building area in the northern part of the capital (Barbu Vacarescu &#8211; Pipera). The first phase of the new project involves an investment of 12-13 million euros for the completion this summer of six blocks with 150 apartments.
